The cooling fan relay is not in the fuse box. The secondary air pump relay is there. The fan control depends on the engine. The V6 uses controller under the frame horn near the driver's side headlight. It's visible with the belly pan removed. I would start by checking the cooling fan relays. They are located in the fuse/relay panel under the hood next to the windshield washer fluid bottle. The fuse/relay function and location are listed on the under side of the cover. Might be just a bad relay (about $5.00 at any auto parts store). I have the same problem. When I turn on the AC the fan turn on but if I turn off the Air conditioner the fan turn off. I verify the Main Fan Relay and this relay is good but doesnt recive the 12V to the coil. I verify the diagram and I see that signal comes from the ECU. I think that may be some sensor is not working but Iam not sure.
